Our clinic offers orthodontic treatment not only to children but also to adult patients with improper bites (malocclusion). Despite the fact that two thirds of today’s population is reported to have various types of malocclusion, only very few of those people decide to undergo orthodontic treatment. Untreated malocclusion may lead to irreversible temporo-mandibular joint dysfunctions causing myofascial pain. Furthermore, one of the major side effects of crowded teeth is the susceptibility to tooth decay occurring on the adjacent teeth surfaces.
Another source of problems is stress that may cause clenching or gnashing of the teeth. To eliminate this problem we offer oral splints that worn at night ease muscle tension and provide relief to the strained joints. Out of concern for our patients we present every patient with individual treatment solutions that meet his/her individual needs and expectations.
